so...
how to set the SSD as cache for HDD while having OS on SSD?
*
ssd cache?
there is intel smart rapid storage... you can set it at there.
intel smart rapid storage > accelarate > enable acceleration > set size allocated for cache memory (full capacity) > select which hdd > acceleration mode (max mode).

thought OS need to be on HDD? otherwise intel SRS will say "Boot drive is fast enuf" & do nothing. Don't want to use HDD as boot drive but want to make HDD faster(loading time) by using a small portion of SSD as cache.
*
no... not necessary. can set in bios if want boot using ssd.

I bought this model back in March.

3 issues I have with this laptop:

(1) Speaker crackling sound (it goes pop! pop! pop!) - Already had them replaced by Dell Technicians, still happen sometimes
(2) Still getting low fps with everything updated (i.e. not over 100fps on csgo de_dust2)
(3) CPU spikes, the laptop hangs all of a sudden, then back to normal again (only when using Firefox)
