Are you staying at a landed house or high rise (apartment/condo/flats)?

If it's a landed house, they will drill a hole to bring the Fibre cable into your house
If it's a high rise, they will use the original ADSL telephone socket that you currently use for your Streamyx

Yes, the ADSL line can still support 30Mb/s
My brother is on a high rise and his BTU is connected to the ADSL telephone port

it depends on the address. some high rise will be using VDSL or if ur lucky u will be using FTTH.

if black wires ? maybe ftth is coming to your premise 

The built in Browser can work,
it can surf, it can open YouTube,
but failed to load any videos..
same goes to built-in YouTube apps..
it will show error..

it seems cannot make both LAN (IPTV) and Wi-Fi (Internet) work simultaneously.. 
I think it can, just I don't know how to configure only although read thru HERE..

But too bad the HyppTV box cannot be flashed to Android box.

Had exactly the issue as yours.....same 'penalty' charges but i switch from Aneka to Jumbo. They didn't informed me of this matter (penalty thingy) when i applied for switching.

because i don really watch HyppTV, the STB since the installation of Unifi years ago is just open once during installation day...

because the price for Unifi Advance 30 + Ruby is RM209 after 2 years with Aneka is just RM199

since they offer me with Ruby @RM179, but worried after two years i have to pay RM209 lol

by the way, anyone know the "HyppTV Everywhere" can stream all the premium channel or just limited to few channel, if i am on Ruby pack, is that can stream all Ruby pack premium channel?? if cannot, i better call them include Aneka for me for less RM10 after two years

28Mbps is close enough.. They won't be bothered.. More so if thats the speed you are getting over Wifi.. Probably means that full speed is achievable over an ethernet connection.
Well that's your take.. Technology won't be what it is today if advancements were not made and everyone simply sat & accepted their fate. When the black & white TVs came out, should we have stopped there? Or perhaps, stuck with dialup speeds with the 56k modem.. Please do not contribute to the legend that Malaysians love slower Internet speeds..
