an update here:-

i finally took up the offer, and additional info below:
- free call to local land line and all mobile phone is subjected to 600 minutes only (which is more than enough)
- the hypptv given is ruby pack, not aneka/varnam, which means supposed the package is actually rm189++
- the offer was given for existing customer with good payment record (i never late to pay)
- as per their policy, modem and router will not be given new one, but tm extended the existing devices' warranty for 1 year
- tm will send email to confirm after 3 days working, upon received this email, will need to reboot the modem in order to get the new speed

-after 2yrs contract, back to normal price rm209+6%
Is this true? cause the discussion I had was, the price remains until you take up another package (downgrade or upgrade)

It's not keep upgrading or not. Is the same package we have, after 2 years contract, will it increase to the "non-promotional price". That's what I'm asking.

I saw replies to my earlier question, some say will increase after the 2 years is up. Some say will remain. rclxub.gif

No, so far free version is enough for me.
Aiyo, 2 years and still using 30Mbps meh?
Well, I don't know how many times I have upgraded within these two years.

Yes, we don't know because CS gives different answer. So, just enjoy these two years first. Unless, if it is not going to continue, then you will not subscribe and stuck with VIP package? smile.gif

Different people have different needs.

I started with 28.8, then Streamyx 384. Used it until free upgrade to 512. After that house phone + Streamyx bundling , took 1Mb.

Upgraded to Unifi VIP 5 as the cost is just RM110 vs RM149. Streamyx line is giving a lot of headache and my house have very bad copper line despite changing few hundred times.

Took Unifi 30Mb also because dropped Astro and switch to Hyyptv for parents.

So yes, still using 30Mbps tongue.gif

just now 49 ms ping become 86 ms ping

try get different ip address..

Reminds me of streamyx days. 219.X.X.X was the best, 60.X.X.X wasn't good. (or something like this). Streamyx thread people are constantly restarting and dc to get the best IP range.

Unifi also having this sort of problem? hmm.gif

besides this undersea cable issue, my speeds been good.

Just took the plunge to upgrade the package Adv 30. Hope I don't regret it. LOL

I haven't regretted it since July but just sad that it is so pricey compared to TIME. sad.gif

Nothing to regret if your area is only having Unifi/Maxis fibre home. Those living in condo/apartment and have Time coverage, that you better bangwall.gif

Tested the 500mb line my friends has. Ridiculous and best part it is symmetrical download/upload speed.

30mb still got some choking. 500 nothing at all. I can't imagine Google fibre in US 1GB offering. hmm.gif
