I'm having some issues with my Unifi 30MB package's upload speed.

It's still at 5MB upload speed when tested using Speedtest.net, although there were posts that the upload speed has been upgraded to 10MB.

Any comments whether the 30MB Unifi package upload speeds are still being upgraded in batches, or it has been completed and all 30MB Unifi package subscribers are now enjoying 10MB upload speeds? Thanks.

It is supposedly done by batches and I was surprised too when they announced on their website.
Anyway, it has been taken down two days ago so that indirectly tells you it is not completed yet. smile.gif

Thanks for the clarification. rclxms.gif

I'm staying in Subang Jaya and am on Unifi 30MB package, using an ASUS RT-N12 D1 router.....

I noticed that these past few days, at night between 8pm to 12 am, internet connection has been rather erratic, whereby even a 240p Youtube being streamed, has buffering issues.

Anyone here staying in Subang Jaya on Unifi, experiencing the same issues? Thanks.

In early February, a TMNet telemarketer told me that the upload speed for 30Mbps plan has been upgraded to 10Mbps, so I agreed to the upgrade from VIP10 to the Advance 30Mbps A couple weeks after the call, I've yet to receive the upgrade. When I tried to upgrade via the TMPoint at UTC KL, they claim that there is no such 10Mbps upgrade for the 30Mbps plan, and they keep referring to their website (which has already reverted back to the old 5Mbps).

For those already on the 30Mbps plan, are your upload speeds constantly 10Mbps? I don't want to sign the contract if my upload speed is dropped to 5 Mbps. If it's already 10Mbps, TMNet is doing a really lousy job at communicating the upgrade in speeds to their on-ground people.

Yup, my upload speeds constantly 10MB. My upload speed was upgraded a few days ago.

Just upgraded from 10mbps to 30mbps. Previous 10mbps was consistently getting 9-10mbps. Which is good.

With the newly upgraded 30mbps (same stock TM router), I get 18-22mbps via wifi.
Remembered that a friend said he got 18mbps via wifi, after he tried with wired LAN, he can get 30mbps consistently.

So I tried mine with LAN cable too and it worked! ... getting 31mbps consistently. Lucky!
*Tested on both TM Unifi Speedtest and Speedtest.net

Now I'm wondering what should I do to get at least 27mbps++ on wifi .... rather lazy to change the wifi router.

here are my pics :

wifi router and modem (nothing changed since my 5mbps --> 10mbps --> 30mbps) :

On wifi :

now scouting for affordable wifi router  icon_question.gif  ... any suggestions (cheap is always preferred...LOL!  tongue.gif  biggrin.gif ) ?

I'm using ASUS RT-N12....Very happy with its performance.....Considering its price of RM160 when I bought it and it is sufficient enough to provide very good Wifi coverage in my 2-storey terrace house (Router is placed at the centre of the house, near the staircase...).

The ASUS RT-N14 UHP with its 3 antenna (9db gain) are also very good....The RT-N12 has 5db gain......The higher the gain, the stronger the Wifi signal.....

Position of the router in your home also plays a very crucial role to ensure optimum performance.
