You need to learn the difference between asynchronous vs synchronous connections. Google is created for a reason, don't just ask why why why.

As to why TM revert to async connections, answer is obvious: it's cheaper for them.

I'd rather TM decrease the price instead of announcing speeds which they honestly, wouldn't be able to fulfill on a consistent basis.

TM is basically saying; "We are going to day light rob you, the legal way. No matter how we do it, you'll allow us to rob you because we're the biggest fish in this pond."

Everyone wants cheaper internet prices, but majority continues to pay exorbitant price whether be it against their will, knowledge or just don't care. TM has got all their customers by the balls guys.

It's a simple case of if no one pays, TM will have to reduce their price. Unfortunately, everyone still want to pay and continue to whine.
