Now I worry tm is going to overprice(maybe high as unreasonable?) to new customer if they follow the same as Time. Now still thinking if I should I just stick to my old VIP20 or upgrade to Advanced 50. My contract already expired but no Time coverage on my area because of landed property and they refuse to do it because cost is expensive.

Anyone have their ISP stated as Graves and Graves Construction Company when doing speedtest on speedtest.net? I just noticed it last night when doing some speed test.

I was a Streamyx user long ago and moved to UniFi VIP then Advanced. TM always give plans and expect customer to move on to the new plans. No auto upgrades at all. For lower price, I never pay attention to it. Some people ask for discount then they give it. Price is always expensive until you ask for discount or something.

EDIT : Streamyx old plans and VIP plans is still the same price and also discontinued but still there until you make a move to new plan. Pretty sure TM is going to discontinue Advanced plans and do the same thing again.

I've seen some users with UniFi on the forum still have TM under their ISP name. Got a feeling those with "Graves and Graves" are ready to have new package on their location or vice versa.

EDIT : Nevermind, the "TM" on ISP was a screenshot long ago.

Any highest speed that Maxis offer, TM always will stick behind them just to make them "competitive". But then, whenever TM reveals their package first before Maxis reveal theirs, Maxis download speed is always doubled compared to TM. Even TM plans is not official yet, I really doubt that they going to revise their speed.

Was thinking of TM changing 100Mb package to RM149 on 1st April. Then next month bill come out RM399.

Because it won't be fair to Maxis anymore. Let's compare Maxis 100Mb and TM 100Mb :
Maxis : Both 100Mb download and upload with throttled speed on peak hours.
TM : 100Mb download and 50Mb upload with no throttled speed(some users claim sometimes is being throttled).

We never know what is inside the terms and condition on their 10 year agreement

I have a question, lets say if there is promotion on the current package I have now. If I downgrade and upgrade to that package that has promotion, am I eligible for the promotion?

I remember going to Mid Valley on last Sunday, one of the dealer said end of March is the last day for the discount/promotion.

EDIT: But I don't see much difference there, they just include the RM20 Free Call value added service into the bundle. The RM179 promo is exclude RM20 Free Call value added service.

So basically TM was referring to Time that they have small coverage on their comment and Time replied back they never use tax payers money to invest on their service

No choice . My brother using Advanced plan and I'm still using VIP20. I start from 512K streamyx for like few years til UniFi come out then subscribe VIP5. Went to VIP20 when Ja-Ja Jumbo promotion comes out til today already 2 years+. So yeah, no choice on landed property because my area here only have TM box on the pole.

Dect phone power died and never bother to ask for replacement and TM router can't remember model but power already died before few months I switch to VIP20, also I never call TM and ask for replacement because I knew replacement also don't have good QoS feature that time so I replace with aftermarket one with "RJ45 for 10/100 BaseT for WAN x 1, RJ45 for 10/100 BaseT for LAN x 4". Guess I need to use new router again provided from TM til it dies again then buy new one.

Now was wondering, I subscribe to VIP5 1 week after release in Klang Valley. I'm still using same BTU until today. Am I eligible to get a BTU also? BTU is Alcatel-Lucent I-240G-P with TM logo on it. I've seen some other country also use it but not TM logo on it.

Something was wrong here. Lets exclude GST and promo price :
Back then, VIP5=RM149, VIP10=RM199, VIP20=RM249.
Now, ADV30=RM199, ADV50=RM249, ADVP100=RM299.

Now I was wondering it supposed to go like this, ADV30, ADV60 and then ADV(PRO?)120.
Isn't sequence supposed to be RM50 difference each time your speed is doubled?

Was thinking of cancelling but still will reconsider because RM299(early bird discount) or RM329(original) doesn't feel like 100Mbps but 120Mbps.

I've never seen TM give promo as soon as a new plan officially go live before. They're up to something
