TM does utilize quite a number of cables to various locations worldwide. Thing is when one cable breaks, you can still access but given the capacity is now lesser, the available links are more congested, hence the slowdown.

You just image using our road system, if PLUS expressway is partially closed due to whatever reason, say from Tapah to Ipoh and everyone is forced to exit the expressway and use the old roads, you will get into bad congestion as the roads cannot cope with the capacity.

No, I meant that provided your home network is at optimal levels.. You'll get the full 50Mbps from TM, at the very least through an ethernet connection.

Make me wonder why to US server is slow as we know from previous news we use AAG back bone to US server and ASE/Cahaya only connected to sg, japan, filipina, kemboja dan hongkong... but it landed to japan and at that point, there are many underwater cable land at same site, so maybe ASE/cahaya give more bandwidth compare to AAG...

but still dunno, and lucky enough get 175 at early mac before disruption happen..previous get 210. IP, slow like hell and fb video only pusing2 macam gasing...

My HypeTV suddenly cannot be use after changing to Asus Router. Phone line and Unifi @ 30mbps have absolutely no issue.

Upon executing Test Network Connection, it said :
4 - Central connectivity --- x
5 - NTP connectivity --- x
7 - Multicast connectivity --- x

May I know what is currently going on? And more importantly how to FIX it?

Did you check if your Hypptv lan cable is connected on the 1st LAN port of your router?

my connection assigned to this IP 60.xx.xxx.xxx for few days already..no buffering problems with youtube or twitch on HD setting..Everything loads normal including FB. before this was assigned 210.xxx.xxx.xxx..connection was way below average

Me too, using 30mb package, torrent download max 1.90MB/s....Last time use Maxis 10mb torrent download max 1.05MB/s..

This is the first time I got a strange looking IP of 1.33.xx.xxx, everything seems looking fine.

Last 2 days I did a few torrent test (from public tracker), the speed was 3-4MB/s, I think this is fast enough and I was surprised no need the use of VPN. Maybe you forgot to adjust your upload speed?
