It depends on how they tune on the car since torque power is good, but personal feeling it wouldnt be 6sec+, 9 secs is really sound reasonable but yet, it doesnt really impress on the speed, just acceptable.

I would rather wait it launched and see its price vs spec, to see whether it is worth to get this car first. Wouldnt want to be first batch as always have some problem.

I didnt order yet, I would prefer test drive first before I made any booking, just try to check with him what is offerng right now.

Why some of the dealer said 9/6 can start test drive the car some say 11/6?

Wondering how good is this CivicX, still unknown about its maintenance period and the final price, but it would definitely an interesting car.

This is only when the car is available. Before that, who made the booking would come first as all loans have been approved before car is available. However if you have special relationship you can get the car even faster.

Anyone get the hire purchase loan with 3 years? What's the rate? For may be 50k or 100k

KL SA sibeh LC, go test drive the car, ask more questions then no patience too. Lol. Ask for what is the best discount, he said no discount no free gifts.

I think almost all KL SA is like that, outstation seems much eager for sales.

Been two days in Honda showroom, and finally have tested the new Civic with different routes, thanks for SA to offer more variant routes so I can really test the car.

Power: 1.5T is really generating good power so you can have the Turbo feel. However, CVT gearbox is designed for energy efficient, so you can't really feel too much Turbo, slight drawback for racer but is a definitely good power for city ride.

Comfort: Honda used similar leather seat in all model of cars. This kind of leather is slightly slippery. Furthermore, they don't provide Sport Driver Performance Seat, when driver make a U-Turn or more than 45 degree turns, you will feel slippery on both drivers and passagers seats. When getting over the obstacles, you will feel it is quite jumpy, but after I realize is because of they used Continental MC5 which is more on the soft side and Honda suspension is too hard, so this may not be the perfect pair. If money is allowed, change to medium hardness tyres, such as PS3, or future PS4.

Exterior: Perfect exterior and you will have a "WOW" feeling when your first sight with the car. It definitely has the European car feeling and you will feel grand especially on White and Silver. LED light in my perspective is a must to make the car outstanding. Without the LED, that is a little bit boring on the front but back side is cool and sexy.

Interior: Dashboard for driving and media is really excellent, Honda offers something which does not appeared in the same segment of cars. That would be a plus point. However, other part of interior, Honda converted to localize material for some reason(I am not sure as it is different with US model), it shows that not so high end feeling but more like a Proton car, this spoiled the image of overall interior but it can cover with some minor car decorations.

Value: This car is market in the price between RM136k OTR with Insured for highest spec. In my view, this offer good power and it comes with a lot of features which other cars model may not have such as Hold Break, Digital Handbreak, Auto Remote On/Off, Apple CarPlay and more. However, this is still not very expensive, but not very cheap too.

Maintenance: They mentioned 7000km to service once for Turbo model. Generally still acceptable but cost is higher than normal 1.8L.

Value : 8/10
Maintenance: 8/10

If you like this car, I think worth to buy one. Noticing these few days, most people only testing the car, but not much signing to buy yet, may be everyone is still monitoring the market.
