When going over bump, it is not turbo lag. It is just the tuning of CVT.

For people interested on the RPM vs Speed, I can give some hint based in my 1.5 City. At 120km/h, if cruising, it is just slightly above 2K RPM.

Can use paddle shift to shift to lower gear after the bump, haha.

I went to test drive the tc-p today and noticed that the temp and fuel gauge are not digital but analog gauges made to look like digital.

Actually since it is using CVT, it depends on the load... which means 110 km/h if cruising maybe above 2k, but if you going uphill might go to about 3k just to maintain the same speed.

It's digital, just not LCD. The Civic gauges use LED lights to indicate the temperature & fuel levels. Analog gauges are such as below

Is it just me or the red Civic looks classier compared to other colors on display. I didn't expect that I'll like that red.

There is a ratio limit to cvt box. It will be wider than conventional auto box. But now, conventional auto has 8,9,10 speed, which also has very wide gear range equal o more than cvt box. Problem is, this type of gbox only limited to more expensive car for now.

2 runs.

run with the 6ish figures... 100 city

run with the 12ish figures... 80 highway 20 city

run with the 14ish figures... 90 highway 10 city

mayb too used to dual clutches.. that cvt's power delivery feels so numb... the power is there.. but the kick really tak ada.

There will still be fixed ratios when cruising. Only when accelerating/decelerating the ratios will vary.
