Yes in terms of the specs and what's on offer, the 1.8L is a good deal actually. I was actually surprised that Honda had so much on offer for the base 1.8L. Its as if they were worried that the 1.8L sales would be poor.
Items like walkaway auto lock, remote start, 8 way powered seats, electric parking brake, rear aircon and curtain airbas are usually reserved for the higher spec models to boost their sales. But Honda decided to offer these as standard for the 1.8L as well. I even think that the Shiruken styled rims offered for the 1.8L looks more classy than the other 2.
In my opinion, the only selling point of the 1.5L is the turbo itself with the LED headlights coming second. Besides that, other add on's are irrelevant. And for the turbo, if it was a twin scroll then I would have considered paying the extra 10K but since its only a soft turbo, it doesn't quite entice me.
I was also worried that the interior finish and material quality would suffer with the 1.8L but it doesn't seem to be the case here.
So yeah, now im more confident that getting the 1.8L was the better choice. At about RM118K only, I think its surely value for money.

The 1.5 turbo engine may give new buyers some uncertainties judging from the complains from Peugeot 308 turbo engine. Read from the internet, some engine need to be overhauled at 40,000 km due to carbon buildup. Wonder how much does it cost?
