Actually I doubt he will get much advantage unless he configure the damn thing's sensitivity to match a normal keyboard and mouse.
I tried using one of these things for XBOX and I gave up after a while. You don't get a true keyboard/mouse experience with that. All it does is convert the signals.

As mentioned in the article, there is a lag, because XFPS will convert the signals from the keyboard and the mouse into the signal matched with ur controller.
That is where the lag kicks in. I have used one of those Lik-Sang things last time and it doesn't work. If you have so much time configuring the device, might as well you just use it to practice with the controller. You get the same result in the end.
