I've been using Celcom First Basic 38 for nearly 7 months now

Really?
Hard for me to admit this but I agree with him
Celcom is quite weak in my office & at home
Previously was using Maxis, the coverage at office & at home is quite good compared to Celcom

Nevertheless I'm not going back to Maxis until they revise their pricing whistling.gif

After 3 months both plan will say Bye to you
Those who registered before the promotion ends, will stay with the plan forever unless the change to different plan / different telco
The promotion period is to provide you with a final date to join

Maxis What a shame
Other telcos is capable of offering a lot more without asking their customers to sign any contract but you bait the customers with this cheap trick

I got my facts from their official FAQ page: https://www.celcom.com.my/personal/plans/go...d=1439663563811
Their FAQ's is not updated
QUOTE(R4yMoNd @ Feb 13 2016, 04:49 PM)
yeah perhaps this limited promotion end by 31march 2016, meaning whoever subscribe now will enjoy the unlimited call / sms for only 1 month. and after that only 100 mins.
Wrong again
Before you make all this assumptions, go to the Celcom HQ yourself to get a clearer answer

That First Gold plan you see in the FAQ is the old First Gold RM100 plan, not the new First Gold RM80 plan

Those who subscribe before the promotion ends, will get the unlimited call for eternity unless you change to other plan
If by following your logic, I wouldn't get the 50 minutes free calls & 3GB data for only RM38 per month anymore for the Celcom First Basic 38 that I registered in June last year

Don't be loyal to a fault
Learn to accept that everything has their own pros & cons

before Mod come & give warning, better post all the promo/plans etc. on Celcom at their thread. This is Maxis Thread
Another Maxis Fanbuis?
This thread is opened to compare pricing and ask Maxis why are they not reducing their overpriced package
And in order to do that, we have to show what other telcos is offering

You want to report, go ahead rolleyes.gif

Good to know that Maxis listens to the voice of the customer sometimes.
No they don't
They only offered that plan to those who wants to MNP
It's a last resort to make their customers stay with them

If they really listen to their customers, they would've open that plan to the public so everyone can enjoy

Apparently you need to submit port requests only Maxis will call to counter offer. Otherwise contacting their support team is useless as they have no idea what is going on.
Just trying my luck tongue.gif

Anyone knows the personal twitter account / email address of Morten Lundal (Maxis CEO)?
Share it with everyone, so we can tweet bomb / SPAM his twitter account / email about these atrocious plans and nitpicking customers

1 month = +6GB

1 year = +72GB

10 years = +720GB

20 years = +1.4 TB

is that how it works? smile.gif
No LOL
You can only carry forward 3GB per month

Let's say last month you still have 2GB left, so this month you will get new 3GB+2GB brought forward from last month for a total of 5GB
Then this month you still have 5GB unused, you can only bring forward 3GB for next month + new 3GB for a total of only 6GB
