Maxis "brand" is still powerful among the old gen population & among corporate users. that's why u see the CS would be super efficient when any inquiries / problem by corporate users. It's give some good impression.

QUOTE(alexision @ Feb 17 2016, 05:08 PM) how can i be offered with that? I was in surftmore 5gb but since they have 2+2gb free, i downgraded to 2gb. Now that the promo is gone, im think to switch to celcom since I cant really survive with only 2gb, as they no longer offer 5gb rm75 surftmore why not u PM Maxis and ask for "special" offer they can give u |

QUOTE(Darkknight2010 @ Feb 19 2016, 02:27 PM) After reading this topic I called Maxis and request to speak to loyalty team and asked them to offer me their retention package. good for u They offered me RM88 and RM48 for Maxis One 188, 8GB unlimited calls and SMS, Maxis One Share for supplementary line. I accepted the offer because of the maxis one share. I think this package is hard to beat. guess it's with contract |

QUOTE(Darkknight2010 @ Feb 20 2016, 12:10 AM) Yes it is with 24 months contract. We have been using maxis since 1996, although celcom has similar package but with maxis new contract we actually save around 120 per month and we get extra 6gb data. Monthly bill for this account was RM250-300. good decision Now it is RM88 + RM48 and GST. nowadays every ringgit save counted |

QUOTE(SamD @ Feb 23 2016, 10:47 PM) Not entirely correct. This was what happened to me this morning : wow seriously 1. I called up the CS at 123 and told them I wanted to speak with the loyalty team because I was seriously intending to port out but not yet initiated the porting process. 2. They did the standard account verification, created a ticket and told me someone from the Maxis would call me later. 3. Then, in the afternoon I received the call, and the guy introduced himself from Maxis and discussed about my intention to port out. 4. He then asked about how much data I wanted and presented the various available (read "counter") plans. 5. One of them is the RM68 with 5GB with unlimited call and SMS, valid for two years/24 months and no contract. Basically it's just the RM158 OnePlan with RM90 rebated over 24 months. Same goes for the RM188 OnePlan with RM100 rebate. 6. He further stated that during the 24 months period, I'm free to change plan or port out and there will no penalty imposed. 7. I asked for email confirmation on these T&C, he responded "can't spell these out in email" but such will be reflected in the new bill. 8. I accepted the offer, but since I was still with contract on the existing plan, I was told to pay up the remaining termination penalty cost first. 9 He then activated the new RM68 plan for me So, bottomline you just need to call up the CS and take it from there. Yes, you can. Just pay up the remaining termination penalty cost and you'll be OK. P/S:The CS @ 123 will pretend to tell you there is no "loyalty team", however you just need to insist anyhow thanks for all the valuable info. It may help those existing subscribers |

QUOTE(lala_cai @ Mar 3 2016, 01:01 AM) been a maxis customer for more than 10 year and now really regretted for taking up the 2 years contract for the iPhone last year. I think u can "slow talk" @ nego with them on the penalty charge. u might not needed to pay for it still a long way to go before I can finished my contract. @kc6012 wanna ask did you pay for the contract penalty charge when you take the offer? |

QUOTE(attw @ Apr 3 2016, 01:07 PM) I was posting on their FB page on their unfair treatment ever since all this started. My penalty to port out is close to RM1k so I can think of better ways to use that money than to donate it to them. Anyway, few days ago they blocked me from their FB stating I was spamming them. But I'm so happy that for the past two days more and more people are posting on their FB page about their discrimination of customers. In this day of social media and information technology, strange how they think they can get away with this. Their CS all speechless already, other than the cut and paste answers. Drones. the more they block people.more would bomb their FB page on the discrimination done |

QUOTE(irvan94 @ Apr 3 2016, 04:40 PM) what is need to be done if want to switch to a different service provider while maintaining the same no? Step 1: You will have to go to the new mobile service provider's service centre or authorised dealer to request for number porting.*shitty treatment from maxis like 10 years already (dumb of me) Step 2: Fill in a Service Registration Form and pay the porting fees for processing. You will be issued with a new SIM card. Step 3: Upon approval, the new mobile service provider will inform you that you have successfully ported when the new SIM card is activate |
