IMO, u need a laptop with at least 8GB RAM, SSD, Intel i5 processor & above, and a decent graphic card. Try to search for laptops with above specs.

My kind of topic, Engineering!

GC dont need to be so good. Just a normal 1 will do.

You need a good CPU and RAM. Minimum i5 and not ciplak i5. There are many types of i5. From low to high end. So please dont go low end CPU else you open any engineering app also takes u 5mins.

RM4-5k is good enough but get the right spec. Put more focus on CPU and RAM. Dont go for AMD!! I'll post here if I have time to search for it later. smile.gif

Here you go for HP laptop.

1 is newer which cost RM100 more, but honestly, both having the exact same spec. Dont know what is so new.

thats a i7-6700HQ, 4 cores and 8 threads, 8GB memory.

I am looking at Dell but could not find the pricing for their laptops.

I was issued a HP Elitebook on my last job, but I still prefer a Lenovo Thinkpad.

Dell - partly due to their ease of servicing. icon_idea.gif
