Haha been getting many RM3 off promo last weekend

I booked a Grab ride today with a RM4 promo code discount available in my city and nearly got screwed over.

It was a short ride, but when I reached the destination I was charged the FULL amount suddenly. Even the payment screen on driver's app showed the full fare, instead of the discounted fare, although my rider's app showed the discounted fare.

I was lucky enough to have just enough spare change to pay the driver. I understand the drivers depend on this for a living, so I did not even attempt to object the fare shown. I just thought things could turn really sour if I didn't have enough change - in fact, after paying for the full fare I was only left with a 10 cent coin.

Be careful, riders, bring extra change when you book rides with Grab. You can get screwed over unexpectedly.

Happened to me before too. Contact Grab CS, they'll refund you accordingly.

How many days? Got any ETA?

A couple of times fund refunded to my credit card after a few days. Lately they gave replacement promo codes instead.

Nowadays the promo is getting lesser and lesser. or i should say...none... unless you redeem by your grabpoints.

Airport promo getting rampant now quick fly off holiday till 14 june if you can hahahaha

There are a few this month. But only for selected users and the number is limited. You got to use Grabpay though.
