weird stuff. what ssd is this? normally it only take under about 10 minutes to do a clean install on a sata ssd with usb installer. check your ssd if it's connected to intel ports, and bios is set to ahci for sata operations.

btw, to create the usb installer for uefi mode is easy:
1. format the usb stick with fat32;
2. extract the contents of iso file directly into the stick (using 7zip or winrar).

that's it. also make sure the bios settings are set for uefi boot; and make sure the ssd is a gpt disk.
