tested all the microSD and USB 3.0 scandisk i got from sold fulfill by Lazada, using CrystalDiskMark and h2testw and they are fast.
tested my other normal no brand stuff = slow.
Lazada = legit.
*
Fast does not mean it is legit, just that PRC cloning skill has improved a lot.

h2testw does a counterfeit test and fills up the disk to test for actual capacity as well.
*
The clone nowadays are real capacity! But failure rate upon use, that's another story.

I think what adamw means is its possible for a fake card, lets say 32gb, to actually have the full 32gb capacity, but build quality/parts used may be cheapo stuff...It may work perfectly fine for a while, but no guarantee it will last as long as an ori one...These days, just because a card can pass h2testw, doesn't necessarily mean it is 100% genuine...Just my own 2 cents worth though, so if anyone with better knowledge on this issue can enlighten us with more facts, would be very helpful... thumbup.gif

Lucky I was right, if you suddenly replied "no la, thats not what I meant at all!", I would have jumped off a building by now... laugh.gif Actually, I'm also paranoid about these things...I bought a card from Gemfive recently, passed the h2testw, but can't shake off the feeling it might be fake...Will post the test results here later when I get home...

I also got this 64Gb for rm51 from Gem5 and it is working well but am sure it is fake!

I already know what adamw was trying to implying.
But for someone to just claim the suspect it was fake with no supporting reason, and when asked keeped quiet.
When other people try to explain how the software works he keep going on....and on..... with no details on this how/what he tested and what mythology/controls/hardware did he use.
Kind of got me thinking did he do any proper test at all or does he knows anything at all in regards to SD cards?

Post a screen shot of your results and many poeple here will start investigate the findings. Protip dont use USB2 interface.
Now i remember i actually paid RM75 for my 64GB mSD Sandisk, and it was not sold/fulfill by lazada too. But the results speaks mate.

Im sure there are fake 64gb cards out there with full capacity, but pretty confident the counterfeiters will only provide sup-par hardware and there for the Sequential/Random speed test should its slow compared to other SD cards. After all he got a Sandisk Ultra edition those should get some decent read speeds.
Counterfeiters wants to make max money right, making A+ counterfeit SD cards does not make sense as they are cheap. Making A+ LV bag now that makes sence.
Its more profitable to make fake 64gb cards actual 2gb storage, then trying to make a fake but full capacity and fast card.

Maybe he is one of these guys had a bad experience in the pass that didn't do any test and started it, thinking they got a 16gb SD but in fact was 2gb, and their phone happy keep writing on it until it tires read pass 2gb mark. which explains sd card dies all of a sudden.
SSD, RAM, SD solid media etc.. are tough and should last very very long and they hardly fail in normal use.

No office intended to anyone
Just my 28c
no no my 88c

No offence kid, I was in Shenzhen recently and you would be surprised what is profitable or not to the Chinese, every gadgets seller in every corner also can sell you true capacity Micro SD! But how long that card will last is a big question mark! So I did not reply you when you were rambling on those test that you have done is becoz I have been there and done that way before you and not becoz I am ignorant! brows.gif
And the way you vouch for Lazada selling original cards as if your father own it!

what is polysales???
always check the customer review in taobao hehe tongue.gif

I think like flashsales. Google translate direct from chinese is polysales! Sometimes even those feedbacks cannot be trusted and unless you are in China, hassle of returning it make it a bit risky~!
