Galaxy S3 running on CM13 (basically Android 6.0 Marshmallow). The thing is other people can sideload these games and they work just fine. But Nintendo lawyers targeted most trusted APK mirror sites so I have to risk my phone security just to play Miitomo, nope thank you very much.

and who knows when that lineage will start its nightly and whether it will still support s3 or not

edit: anyway, I have a feeling they whitelist phones based on their minimum recommended specs, and nothing more complicated than that (neither do it's a conspiracy to prevent you from playing their games). at least that is more make sense than star ocean anamnesis which blocks cm-based roms from getting it directly from store, at least that what i assumed happen to my phone

edit 2: my snarky post about security is of course assuming you're using official cm build and not further customized by other rom builder

edit 3: as for apk, there's still trustable source that provides the 2 games (miitomo/pokego) if you know where to find em
