Nowadays, the prices of laptops are killing...not like the good old days, when you could get a "GTX860M" laptop for RM3100 and a "GTX960M" laptop for around rm3600 or less.

For a GT940M laptop, I remember less than RM2500 can get one already last time...

if you say GST and our currency rate problem, the other day i bought my Oneplus smartphone, I was only charged RM70 extra...

anyone knows if the prices of laptops will go down?

Erm I believe it's because the new technologies come together so make the high end laptop expensive abit than before. Most new laptops with the GTX GPU normally stick to 6th generation cores, DDR4 ram, SSD and HD display. This is because there's no reason for you to buy a good GPU when you got a rubbish core or ram.

But i believe Dell's latest Inspiron 15 7559, is quite good for the price and spec.

hey my old friend.. its been awhile... im checking too about notebook markets for since last year and do comparing. and what i can say is, the notebook price will not reduce but its slightly increase. while our money power is getting shrink. mobile section (tablets, phablet) somehow starting to take over the netbook. + due to docking tech + competitive price and it can be sync with phone due to OS... netbook somehow, less demanding.

14.1 million netbooks were shipped in 2012, according to iSuppli – a massive drop from 2010. The forecast for 2013 is even worse: iSuppi estimates that just 3.97 million netbooks will ship, a 72 percent drop from last year.

SOS
