Actually he knows what he wanted to say..still he could not pronounce it well.

Then again at least there is sound. So you just nod and continue to talk. biggrin.gif

Guys , will be expecting baby no 2 in December. Been looking at medical card coverage for the newborn , and most are coming to about rm250-300/month.

Coverage for medical , critical illness and life up till age 100. So far been looking at great eastern and AIA coverage.

Anyone here can give me your opinion ?

My first born has medical coverage till age 100 also with rm1million without lifetime limit but no life or critical illness coverage. Paying around
Rm160 for this. But will need to increase the coverage for this too in the coming weeks.

Usually just make sure cover your kids till they 25 year old iinm. so when they grow up is up to them to pay for their own. as far as I know lowest can go as low as RM180-200 for. I survey before for AIA/GE/Pru. Package offer best is from GE, because cover for mom as well for RM220 iinm. That was the price adjustment before June.

I looking for insurance for my kid as well
But I feel like life insurance is not necessary as kid doesn’t has any mortgage yet

If only buy medical card only Do you think is okay ?

my baby's medical card has a small portion of life insurance

we don't need much sum insured for baby as they do not have dependents. life insurance is only important if you have dependents that rely on you e.g. you have parents, wife and kids that rely on you as the breadwinner. hence, u cannot afford to just "go" or out of work like that, leaving them to suffer.

you can educate your kid to buy their own insurance when they start work later as part of lifegoal plannings, meanwhile, just a small amount will do. medical card/expense cover is more important to protect us as parents.

insurance is all about risk mitigating. doesn't mean buy more = better.

I don't think you can skip totally zero on life insurance. as per someone say above, now a days the package always come with small portion of the life insurance, just make sure the coverage is highest on the medical part.

depend u buy during pregnancy or after that later.

Buy if you can afford. Week 35 is last due date. Better decide at around Week 30+
Otherwise, need wait till give birth later only can buy.

Guys , my wife’s expecting . Birthday is in about a week. She is into 28weeks of pregnancy and has implied that she wants to sit and rest at home.
Am running out of ideas on what to get her as a gift.
Any suggestions at all? Something that would make her pregnancy more enjoyable maybe.

She’s not the jewellery kinda person
