It has been a while since I am posting here. My son is already 8 months old, how time flies.
Have anyone of you heard of Grolier home learning books for kids?

I have encountered this booth and talks during my weekend shopping.

I pretty much like the concept of the books and the talking pen (if I pronounce it correctly). The pictures are quite attractive and I hope my boy can start his reading habit from here.

The only downside is the package is expensive as it cost RM2k+ for full set of 84 books. However, it can last till 7/8 years old.

So anyone have reviews here? Thanks

My daughter condition is normal.

im a new father and with my baby being 7 weeks old. he is under the care of my mother in law who is a confinement lady in "profession".

Im getting tired of how my mother in law handles the child, ie feeding Chinese herbs powder, letting baby get used to sleep on his stomach to maintain round head shape, frequently wanting to bring baby out to shopping mall which in modern days a lot of these are not strongly suggested (of coz not prohibited at least) by pediatrician...

anyone have good ideas to fend off my mother in law? or I should let her b?

What is wrong with chinese herbs? Unless your baby has complications with it, otherwise whats the problem.

Sleeping on stomach is good too. Of course, make sure its on a flat hard like a bed with nothing else that could suffocate him. Mine sleep better on stomach. If you want round head, then sleeping in cradle. I let them sleep in cradle since day 1 and slowly remove them from the cradle once they get around 1-1.5years old.

Bringing your baby out is good too. Letting him getting used to noisy environment so that he does not get scared easily by sound etc.

Is it advisable for my wife to go travelling/holiday at week 20 pregnancy? We have bought the air ticket earlier, way before she got pregnant. Contemplating whether to continue our travel plan or not. May have to made some adjustments on our travel plan to a more relaxing one.

Any advise from you guys ? Any response much appreciated.

yeah, i agree.
if can afford to have one child, support one child.
if can support 10 child, then support 10 child.

not like some people, cannot support 5 child, but have 5 child and then ask for donation.
pity the children.
but one thing to ponder, i have a close friend, he dont have siblings. only son.
he said its not easy. sometimes feel its kejam.
when hi father passed away, just leave him and mother, no brother sisters to help out oso.
growing up also alone. and a lot of other things.
so, work hard, and try to give your son a sibling.
