anyway, S4 is kinda underwhelming compared to past seasons, they airlocked one of my fav character
hope S5 can kick up the notch a bit

Its been political since the start. First its Earth VS Mars. Now, it finally escalated to Inners VS Belters
After the down-to-earth last season, this season gonna explode! Marco Inaros says so

yeah, Ep04 is so unexpected & mind blowing

guess this whole season we will see the crews of the Rocicante scattered all around the solar system to prevent this Inners/Belters war

I actually like his character very much, hope the new crew can fill his shoes

nowadays image is everything, any celebrities that caught in any sexual/racism controversies, their career is as good as finished, the recent Mandalorian's Gina case is another example

anyway... I'm now reading another great sci-fi novel that's being adapted in the series by Benioff & Weiss for Netflix: The Three Body Problem
it's another "hard science" sci-fi similar to The Expanse, hopefully we get to see it on screen soon...

Before I watched #10, people was saying it was the best space battle ever. When I watched it..... wtf did I saw? One minute the Rocinante was speeding, the next minute, lots of missiles flying and then, they won. Wha......

If not for this video, I wont even noticed wtf just happened O_o

Season 6 is actually quite good.

they didn't tie off a few loose ends as well...

Let's hope someone else will pick it up again, as there are 2 more books to go, it's basically one of the best space sci-fi of recent time!

I think it will be picked up much later, waiting for word of mouth and ratings to pick up.

Rewatch back S1, finding it a bit draggy compared to the recent seasons which has faster pacing and more compact, but I guess that's also due to recent seasons has limited budgets compared to their first few seasons on syfy, which we can see obviously has more budget allocation for bigger scenes, more casts and flashier effects.

When it was picked up by Amazon, it was toned down a lot, especially on the sex gore and violence part. Guess they also have some problem shooting the final season due to COVID as well as departure of Alex

I find Season 5 a bit soapy, too focused on Naomi's story arc, which was unnecessarily long.

I would like to know more about the aliens behind the ring gates and their enemies, but the story dragged a bit too long and soapy to focus on Naomi family issue.

Maybe the viewership didn't pick up... and hence the decision to end it.

Amazon's deal is only picking it up for 3 seasons, so it's already decided S6 will be the final season with Amazon when they picked it up

S5 Naomi's arc is still not so bad la, IMO S4 is the worst one cos it's very minimal on space venturing and most of the scenes are stuck on the alien planet

S4 was quite ok, although a lot of time was wasted on the planet and introduction of some irrelevant characters to the main story arc.

Probably they could have squeeze season 4/5 as one.
