FAQ( Frequently Asked Question)

How to buy a Dell notebook or Dell peripherals
Phone them at 1800-880-301 or Log on to Dell Website to configure your system.

They dont have any outlet in M'sia . So , if you see any third-party selling Dell notebook , it is absolutely a REFURBISHED Dell notebook or they are just a small agent , selling to earn some commission. They are not Dell Authorized agent . Dell Asia Pacific do not sell their notebook through third party.

There are no so-called Dell Authorised Fulfilment Party . Pls bear in mind that Dell never ever use third-party to sell their Notebook & peripherals.

With your 1GB running in dual channel mode, there is nothing to worry. Maybe windows startup will slow down by a bit.

News Flash

QUOTE
Notebook PC users who upgrade to Microsoft's Windows Vista may have to disable some of the new operating system's flashy graphics features to avoid seeing a decrease in battery life compared to when running Windows XP.

The drop will come from the extra power needed to run the high-end processors, graphics cards, and memory capacity required to support Vista. Microsoft has designed the new OS to deliver novel visual effects such as the translucent "Aero" windows on the desktop interface and to offer improved performance as a digital media hub. The business version of the OS was released last month, with the consumer version due out next month.

Those with core2duo will firstly have a heat issue, and top it up with Vista, less battery power. doh.gif

Finally, the opening of the 4th thread! Congratulations!! Is this the longest thread among all?

Just a suggestion, but it'd probably be good to include the formatting guides as well smile.gif
