QUOTE(tinarhian @ May 18 2016, 09:38 PM) Don't you think Catholics put too much emphasis on traditions and rituals? Doesn't matter. They can continue in their traditions and rituals, we don't have worry about it. What's important for us here is to Lift up Jesus Christ and His Name only...not any Saints or Ladies. If not, why do you think that the Protestant movement came about? If not because of the Catholics. We all belong to God the Father, Jesus the Son of God and the Holy Spirit. Whether they want to admit or not, acknowledge it or not. That is the truth. Jesus knew anyway.... denomination would happened when He prayed to the Father that we would be united. Else why would He mention the word "united". I believe it was in reference to this problem. |

QUOTE(tinarhian @ May 19 2016, 06:46 PM) Christian unity should have no boundaries, separation, denominational and organizational limitation. In fact ALL Christians should strive for truth and glorify God in unison. For me personally, I do practice a No denominational labeling. But the common mission is to fulfill the Great commission? Isn't it? Matthew 28:19, "to make disciples of all nations" ? Even Paul in Romans 8 said that "nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord" Oh what a wonderful and loving God we have. If anyone ask I just say I'm a Christian, if they insist what denomination, I'll say I don't follow any denomination, just Jesus Christ and his word in the Bible as it is. QUOTE(shioks @ May 19 2016, 07:55 PM) Very different lar. Otherwise, why would the religious Christians say "praying to or through" (thought outright forbidden by God) is different than the pagans praying to the dead? All will be well when Christ comes back and Rule as Rightful King of all Heaven & Earth. Then all barriers and denomination will be history. |

QUOTE(tinarhian @ May 19 2016, 08:41 PM) Eeeeeee... God should have used more righteous and godly men shouldn't he? Unknown warrior, I demand explanation. Why is that God used these kind of people? I understand Moses has a speech impediment but God still used him. But King David and King Solomon?? Answer = Grace. And noticed also..God chose Jesus lineage...the women whom He came through...most of them have stigma of sin. Rahab was a prostitute, Ruth was a moabites..a clan which God swore will never enter into his assemblies...Bathsheba..Affair... Answer once again = Grace. God is really REALLY Graceful. If God can use them..He can use any of you. This post has been edited by unknown warrior: May 19 2016, 11:38 PM |

QUOTE(tinarhian @ May 19 2016, 08:54 PM) Do you know that the Gospel is also called the Gospel of Grace?Acts 20:24 (KJV) - But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. It's really good news...to the point some people says..it's too good to be true. What is the Gospel of Grace? The New Testament is all about God's wonderful work to save us, He did it because God is a good God, full of grace....not we saving ourselves via 10 commandments...that is the contrast. |

QUOTE(tinarhian @ May 19 2016, 09:21 PM) Ohh...I keep on hearing about Grace ever since becoming a Christian. Funny thing is when you attend Bible studies class, they will cover the "grace" topics much later on. hehe... Grace is not a subject or a topic, Tina. There's a Gospel Grace Church in Utah. Grace is the person of Jesus Christ. If Churches knew and understood, that Grace should be the very first & foremost emphasized and magnified, Life would be transform. Grace of God is everything to me and I hold that utmost important in the Christian Life. |

Morning guys, if you search in youtube, there are tons of cases of people from that religion coming to our Faith.
It is not a taboo or something weird. They found the God who actually responded more consistently than others. God already made it clear. He will respond to the Name that is written Greater than all other Name and Yes THAT name is greater than all the names ever stated in any religion. QUOTE(Carlo J @ May 20 2016, 08:58 AM) My mum's been reading a book authored by former Muslim, Nabeel Qureshi. Nabeel Qureshi is under the discipleship of Ravi Zachariah, one of the top Christian apologetics who argue very accurately against other religion, the problem of science and atheism. It's called, Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus: A Devout Muslim Encounters Christianity. He described how he came to find Jesus and the passages in the Quran stated that Jesus was the Son of God, not a prophet. It's a really good book. He's the intellectual type apologist. I do follow Ravi teaching as well. |

There's actually a sign to tell the world which God. One that is hard to deny.
It is clear as daylight if they understand the history of it, instead of just brushing it aside just because it doesn't fit in their "intellectual" mind. Israel. God does not leaves us in the dark or clueless. God has been giving signs ever since creation. Sign after Sign and yet people can be blind because of they have a hard heart. A heart that refuse to believe that's stems from the problem of "self". This post has been edited by unknown warrior: May 20 2016, 10:56 AM |
