I've never really shared this portion of scripture in any of my devotion.....sooo I'm not sure if it's about obedience or perhaps God wants us to understand there is no need to shave one's head (punishing our own self...like some other religion do) as an outward expression of being serious with God under the New Covenant.

Doesn't matter the Catholics or Anglicans..any Christians can ask God to give revelation of his word by the HS to understand the context and not just understand it on the surface.

Asian Man... generally wants Face/Pride in how their woman treat them in public.

That is true.

Which is timely since you're going into that status...

Wife needs to submit to her husband and husband need to love and be considerate of the wife.

It's a win win.

The problem stem from how...some woman really mishandle her own husband in public, shaming him.

That is something most guys cannot take.

Don't think this is continent-culture dependent but generally has to do with earning power...Wife could be Big CEO of a company earning much much bigger salary than husband. Husband could be working there as well...in the company she's the Boss but when she comes back home, husband is the boss.

This is instituted by God.

The head of every Wife is her husband.

you know one thing I learned...you may not be compatible in terms of personal preferences...but you can learn to grow together.

Takes lots of patience..but Marriage can work out because God is the one who holds both of you together.

Don't give up just because you like to watch romance drama while your husband prefers sports. Or you like to bath with hot water while your wifey insist that you bath cold water, etc.

Don't let stuff like that separates you.

For one Look to Christ as the head of both your marriage, trust and do pray that He will holds both your marriages, not you guys.

Then Lots of patience.

Tons of it. Like really lots and lots of it.

And don't be petty or calculative. Keep forgiving, don't hold grudges. Be like innocent children in terms of forgiving one another.

There are many, felt like it's a mission for me to correct wrong perspective of God and his word from people who don't know n yet try to portray as if they do.

Okay, my take is this;


There are 3 priests. One said the correct way to get God to answer your prayers is to prostrate yourself fully on the floor because it shows proper humility and full reverence for God.
Another priest says, no the correct way is to fall on your knees with your hands raised up because it shows the correct way of submission.
The Last priest disagree and says no, the correct way is to stand on your legs and raise your hands to God because that shows, you stand strong in Faith to God.

A telephone technician overheard the conversation of the 3 priests, while still up on the telephone pole interrupted saying..

Excuse Me sir, you know God answers my prayers while I'm upside down, sometime hanging sideways and at times in the most weirdest posture in the course of my work.
