Oh yeah, I was hallucinating on food. I imagined that my cats were roasted piglets and my brother was eating pizza in front of me.

Fasting is no fun dude.

Did you know that rice is high in carbohydrate? Doesn't even matter if its white or brown.

Rice also has a high glycemic index, which in turn increase your blood sugar levels.

I stopped eating rice since last year. But if my mum cooked Chinese fried rice, then I give in. cry.gif

Oh that's normal portion, correct.
Hey don't forget rice fed the entire continent of Asia for thousands and thousands of years biggrin.gif. Our population beat the rest of the world.

In all seriousness, it's all about portioning. Starch is important for energy and rice is one of those cheap starch sources. A lot of hard labourers eat tons of rice to get through the day.

Speaking of rice, there's actually a poll of rice-per-capita consumption around the world. You should check it out.
*
I understand hard labourers consumed lots of rice because its cheap and a great energy source. That's ok because they will burn off the calories.

On the other hand, common people consumed lots of rice but do not burn off the calories. whistling.gif

In moderation. Don't gobble it up like a mad men.

Say, have you tried fasting? I heard fasting is great for the body. Plus, coupled it with a powerful prayer you can achieve weight loss effectively.

Bible says even if the dead appear to them to share the gospel, they will not believe.

We just shake the dusts off our feet as a testimony against them.

Jesus did the same thing and does not force if people refuse to believe in Him. Move on to save others who are willing.

Interestingly I was thinking about what Christ said, It is not the healthy who needs the doctors, but the sick.

A Parable talking about people in need are given Grace. People who are self righteous and self made, full of themselves cannot see and receive from God.
*
yawn.gif Sorry, its early morning here.

But there are pastors and preachers who are like that too, and the worse is they try to brainwash the congregation with their law based rules.

The way to handle this,
Grace must then come from our side. Don't be bitter with them but exhibit Christ, still loving and reaching out to help others in the Church.

Just that we stand firm knowing the word of God.
*
Well that's easier said than done. I think that's the same issue with kron ka as well. Its all about being bitter.

I'm bitter too when my church pastor always bring up my past sins. doh.gif

Some people like to live in the past. Hello?! I don't behaved like when I was still 16.

The problem with kron, is that basically He refuse to forgive.

That is what causes the cycle of bitterness to repeat for so many years.

That is why our Lord insist that we MUST forgive as christians because it can cripple our spirit.
*
Well there are people whom I choose not to forgive too. ohmy.gif

Call it selective forgiveness, IDK. It's just unbearable sometimes. Eventually I did forgive them but it took me years!

I'm going to continue to sleep now. yawn.gif

It's not only about Marriage ceremony but a lot of other things. It's not about now, but the long term future.

Most couple are like that. Before marriage, everything also can one and everything okay one.

After marriage, it's a different story there will be requirements and expectations. Trust me.

Maybe it's not you could be her, maybe it could be you. People change as time goes by. Doesn't matter, Life is always a challenge.

Being of the same Faith does help a lot in marriage especially for Christians because we believe in God, we believe that prayer changes situation.

With only her as the believer when it should be both as husband and wife and the Man taking the lead as the Head of the House, there will be times she need you to believe with her...things like that.

Sometimes it's the parents. That is a big headache. When and If you have children.... Some parent insist to go to temple, Her parents will of course object, insist to go to Church ...things like that.
*
If I may add, sounds like life after marriage sucks. shocking.gif

Life is not a bed of roses they said.

Jesus wasn't kidding when He said We will have tribulation in life.

Without God, not only marriage but like can also sucks

But if you and your hubby put Christ as the center and the head of your marriage, it can be like wine, gets better when it gets older.

Even sex.
*
Wow. My ex church pastor thinks sex is a dirty thing. doh.gif
