Hi guys and girls, going through hard time now as I was unemployed for almost 3 weeks and unable to secure jobs. I cried at night and broke down. Thinking why my life so difficult and pray to Jesus to give me the strength to fight through this difficulty.
*
Hi I've been through what you're going through right now, and even longer period and worse was with family n kids "needs".

Instead of praying of strength to go through this gritting your teeth, Pray for God to remove all worries.

Why? because your worries is hindering the flow of God's Grace coming in. You need that Grace more than ever so focus on stopping the worrying.

The Scripture for saying this is based on Matthew 6:25-34. There is a very specific reason why Jesus says "Do not Worry". The reason is as what I've said, it will Hinder or delay the Grace that you need.

One more thing. Have the Faith not only to pray for a Job but be bold to pray for a position.

God Bless Bro.

1 Corinthians 15:30-32 (NIV)

30 And as for us, why do we endanger ourselves every hour? 31 I face death every day—yes, just as surely as I boast about you in Christ Jesus our Lord. 32 If I fought wild beasts in Ephesus with no more than human hopes, what have I gained? If the dead are not raised,

“Let us eat and drink,
for tomorrow we die.”

There is a saying in the world to ridicule Christians; there are so many gods, whose gods? The question seemed to imply in Sarcasm why should your god be special.

The Answer Lies here in 1 Corinthians 15:30-32. In Verse 32, if it was for mere human reasons or mere human hope, the apostle Paul would rather eat and drink and die tomorrow implying to enjoy the vanity of the world while it last.

But No dear Friends. The very Fact that they have seen God first hand, and not only that but because they've seen Christ Risen from the dead proving to be the Long Awaited messiah for Mankind and proven to be God is the very reason of their dedicated life to the gospel despite human ridicule, hardship or danger.

God Bless.

Just some musing.

As Christians we don't have to play politics to hurt others or demean others just to protect ourselves or to be promoted because we have God who not only loves us but take care of our well being.

The people of the world do because it's survival of the fittest, a dog eat dog world.

I'm trying to encourage you, don't be like the people of this world, it's a bad testimony if you play the same game. They'll see you as no different from them.

Where is the Glory due to the Father then?

Here is another food for thought.

Pray to our Lord! ....even if you don't feel like it, especially when you don't feel like it. Prayer connects you to God.
Don't rely and depend on people because human energy are easily drained. God's power on the other hand is inexhaustible.

Jesus knows we need God, problem is sometimes we don't know we need God.

The Book of Isaiah says:

Isaiah 40:31 (NIV): but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

God Bless.

I would like have an honest answer from Christians.

Do Christians have to "menegur" other Christians if they have committed some moral wrongdoings.

Let's say as a Christian, u saw someone committed adultery.

Are you obliged to judge him/scold him/punish him at your own accord?

I learnt that this is required in another religion where you have to "menegur" your fellow brothers if they have committed some moral wrongdoing.

If you're talking in the context highlighted in bold, No.

but advise Yes.

You can quote this scripture to disprove any form of veneration towards Mary, Saints or Angels.

Revelation 19:10 (NIV)
At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "Don't do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.

And it is consistent with the incident in the book of Acts.

Acts 14:8-15 (NIV)
8 In Lystra there sat a man who was lame. He had been that way from birth and had never walked. 9 He listened to Paul as he was speaking. Paul looked directly at him, saw that he had faith to be healed 10 and called out, “Stand up on your feet!” At that, the man jumped up and began to walk.

11 When the crowd saw what Paul had done, they shouted in the Lycaonian language, “The gods have come down to us in human form!” 12 Barnabas they called Zeus, and Paul they called Hermes because he was the chief speaker. 13The priest of Zeus, whose temple was just outside the city, brought bulls and wreaths to the city gates because he and the crowd wanted to offer sacrifices to them.

14 But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard of this, they tore their clothes and rushed out into the crowd, shouting: 15 “Friends, why are you doing this? We too are only human, like you. We are bringing you good news, telling you to turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made the heavens and the earth and the sea and everything in them.

Totally agree. Worrying stops blessing from flowing in.

Last year (October 2015) onwards, I was in financial hot soup as well. I worried till I got so fed up of worrying, and I prayed to God, "I can't handle this. It's beyond my control. I need Your mercy and guidance' etc etc, and then left the issue to Him and got my peace of mind back.

Financial issues were still there... BUT financial blessings poured in as well. Few months later in January 2016, I got 5 job offers in a month. Whoa! Jobs came to me; I didn't look for them!

So, now I'm not worried though the issues are yet to be resolved. Now I earn RM2-3k/mth more than last year. Can settle the issues soon.

PRAY ACCORDING TO HIS WILL WITH FAITH AND OBEDIENCE. It's hard at first, but after facing a few trials with Him, your faith in Him will become very deep-rooted.

That's it! We need this sort of breakthrough, this sort of revelation to permeate the Christians in this forum so that there is stronger victory!

Praise God.

Just some musings....

Last Sunday my Church was preaching about not giving up our Faith in God.

In the course of the preaching, the pastor exhorted the congregation don't give up believing in Jesus no matter how tough the situation is, no matter how impossible circumstances are against you.......and I heard God speaking this to me in the midst of the message:

You can only be strong if you depend on Me.

I understood what that meant, perhaps it can encourage you the reader as well.

God Bless people of God.

There are no denomination qualification when it comes to Salvation, only the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As far as our Lord is concern, anyone who believes in Him as Saviour, as Son of God, acknowledges this truth and receive it... is saved regardless, Catholics, Presbyterian, Baptist, etc we are all children of God.

The dying thief at the cross is the undeniable proof that our Salvation is by grace and grace of God alone. God does not discriminate and contradict in the way He saves.

Just some musing for today.

There is no such thing as I will try my best to keep/obey the 10 commandments, the laws of God. It's either you can or you cannot.

James 2:10 says: For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.

There is no such thing as under the new covenant, I have the grace of God so I can "try" to keep/obey the 10 commandments. There is no "try" in the dictionary of God, you won't find it in the Bible.

Romans 11:6 says: And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.

Your Salvation is either of God's Grace or by your Deeds, there is no mixture.

This mixture of doctrine between law & grace is the greatest confusion that has caused so many Churches not to understand Salvation that Christ came to give.

Ephesians 2:8-9 Says it very clearly and there can be NO Argument about it.

Ephesians 2:8-9 (NIV)
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast

Why is the Grace of God so important? The answer is this; it's the only the thing the devil cannot use against Christians. But the laws of God, he can.

God Bless.
