But there are pastors and preachers who are like that too, and the worse is they try to brainwash the congregation with their law based rules.

The way to handle this,
Grace must then come from our side. Don't be bitter with them but exhibit Christ, still loving and reaching out to help others in the Church.

Just that we stand firm knowing the word of God.

Well that's easier said than done. I think that's the same issue with kron ka as well. Its all about being bitter.

I'm bitter too when my church pastor always bring up my past sins. 

Some people like to live in the past. Hello?! I don't behaved like when I was still 16.

The problem with kron, is that basically He refuse to forgive.

That is why our Lord insist that we MUST forgive as christians because it can cripple our spirit.

Today is last working day for us and 1 shipment rushing yet this customer is giving us a hard time.........asking them to liaise with the fwding agents to provide us custom form but refused saying this is not their duty but our instead.

Really headache with this kind of customer

Well there are people whom I choose not to forgive too. 

Call it selective forgiveness, IDK. It's just unbearable sometimes. Eventually I did forgive them but it took me years!

Well, you know the motto. Customer is always king. 

The problem with kron, is that basically He refuse to forgive.

That is what causes the cycle of bitterness to repeat for so many years.

That is why our Lord insist that we MUST forgive as christians because it can cripple our spirit.

Staying in DUMC is not christian life. It has little to do with the people. Its the leadership propagating wrong doctrine. What's the difference? Already the congregation can't act as a blessing to others, because we can't even bless each other. People there are indoctrinated to think that serving is balancing your current account with God, to accumulate your richess in heaven. If that is true, then what Christ did on the cross for us is in vain. We still have to pay our "sin tax" by serving???? to reduce our balance sin account with God? Is that what the pastor is trying to say? No wonder nobody is feeling blessed at the church.

The church is so calculative, day by day, telling people you have to boost your "give" currency because you have been collecting to much "receive" currency.

Its a church with no love. I go to my gf's church, there's more caring, fellowship and more effort to tell the congregation to be better disciples. Not because of serving, but because the pastor cares about his congregation.

I am not going to my gf church, because of my personal reasons I cannot disclose here. But I am thinking of going to another church. Not a small one. A church that is not influence by the DUMC doctrine. I do want to serve, but I do not want to be exploited. I want to serve because I love Jesus and what he stands for. Not because I want to pay my sin tax. How can I go on serving at DUMC, if they keep on trying to guilt trip their congregation?? I don't feel the love there. I already have a few of my friends from DUMC left the church for New Creation Church. Some of them tell me that everytime they go to DUMC, they go back home, feeling guilty, remorse and low self esteem. Its because the pastor keep beating their brow, about how not enough they are doing.

I know of one guy, who serve the church, gave his all resources to the church. He serve every weekend at the church and its ministries. He gave away 50% of what he earned. And when he retired, he found out that he was close to bankrupt. He was desperate for job. He went to the pastor, and ask for help. And then the pastor did what? Come, come to altar call and pray. THen after that, forgot about him. WOW

Desperate he came to my friend to beg him for a job. My friend who is also attending DUMC became disgusted. He provided the old man a job, but when he heard this, he left the church for another.

But as I said, I am stuck. I can't go to my gf church, because of some personal reason with some of the members there who are suspicious of me. Its something I did at her church 10 years ago. Its nothing big though.

So if I choose to leave DUMC, the members at her church will accuse me of being a church hopper. I am kind of tired and dragged at DUMC. CNY is already here, and my cg leader hasn't even bothered to organize a CNY fellowship dinner !!! To me, we just a group of strangers, that come on Friday meeting, to debate or argue about church policy during cg discussions.

No it has nothing to do with church policy.

Its because some girl I used to go out with is also attending the church my gf is attending. So apparently that girl confronted my gf about me, not sure what she said to my gf. The girl has some connections at the church, she knows some people there.

But my gf is not bucking, because I explained everything to her. I got the feeling that the girl is trying to say bad things about me to my gf. Come on, back then, was 10 years ago when I dated her, she told me that we weren't suitable, so I backed off. After 10 years, she still got bad wibes at me. Unbelievable.

So I want to have a spine, not want to go to another church, because I don't want to be accused as a church hopper.
