Bro, that cloth is part of germany national outfit, if your national culture was attacked and criticized would you keep quiet about it?

what she wear with the revealing chest part, that should be between her and God not you to judge, Jesus once forgive a prostitute for sinning, and Jesus also once told Simon Peter do not call anything unclean that I've make clean.

So why judge their costume when it was their national heritage? Of coz I would say that cloth is inappropriate but that is not us to comment. By saying that Tina shouldn't wear that kind of costume, aren't you're making yourself same like those hardcore muslim?

Luffy & Tina,

You guys are missing the point.

It's not about judging / criticizing what you wear, In Fact I didn't.

It's about being mindful that whatever we do, don't stumble other Christians.

Have you not read Romans 14?

It talks about as what I was trying to say: Don't put an obstacle for the weaker conscious Christian which may cause him/her to fall.

As Christians, we cannot say, I don't care about other people, moreover other bro or sis.

But you disapproved of it. hmm.gif

You are a Taliban.

It comes mainly from these thoughts.

I prayed for Healing but God doesn't heal, so it must be his will for the person to be sick, etc or

I prayed for Protection but God did not protect, so it must be his will for the person to be in tragedy.

But if we know the word of God....This is far from who God is.

Maybe your next writeup could touch upon the sovereignity of God and worldly tragedies... smile.gif

Why is it, before this, you felt so uncomfortable that you wanted to remove your tattoos asap But you feel indifferent about this?

Or do you not understand 1 Corinthians 8:9?

It's a coping thing. Otherwise, it'll become a 'why didn't God do this if He's good' kind of thinking.

How do we consolidate this bitterness with the Bible? It's something I struggle with too, but I don't know where to look.

Well here it is,

My today's Devotion is based on;

1 Timothy 6:12 (NIV) - Fight the good fight of the faith.Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Do you know that Faith can be divided between 2 types? It's call the right type of faith and wrong type of faith.

Faith basically means Believe. You can either believe in something that is good or bad.

Right type of Faith always have a good opinion of God. (This type of faith always either speed up or bring forth God's promises come to life)
Wrong type of Faith hinges on negative opinion about God. (This type of faith always delay answered prayer or suspends it)

But to have the right type of Faith on God, you need to know Who God is, and that can only be discovered in the Bible.

Didn't Jesus says anyone who sees Him, has seen God the Father? (John 14:9). With this equation mind, (with regards to Healing), you'll notice everyone and anyone that came to Jesus ALL got healed. Jesus NEVER turned anyone down. NEVER.

So who says sometimes it is not God's will to heal his believers? That is baseless and unfounded.

But why is that in reality, many of God's people weren't healed even though have been prayed and believed? Answer lies in 1 Timothy 6:12. We are in a warfare, to be in warfare would mean a need to Fight the good fight of Faith, meaning to Fight (in the warfare of the mind) to have a good opinion of God.

You need to know our life is always in warfare against the weaponry of the thief who come to kill, steal and destroy. This is a fact whether we like it or not, whether we see it or not, whether we want to acknowledge it or not.

The devil always contest against God's people to have them doubt God because he & his team came to kill our Faith, steal our hope and thus destroy our Life. With that being said, the reason why answers are not coming forth from God is because the Devil & team they are resisting our prayers. Else it is redundant to call it in 1 Timothy 6:12, a Fight. You don't need to fight anything if there are no resistence.

Regardless, God's people do not Lose. Even if the person dies from whatever health affliction there is and was never healed, he/she gets to go Home to be with Jesus and that is far more a blessing because in heaven, all our pains, our needs, our sorrows is no more but blessed life everyday.

Hope this helps to give a better perspective of our faith-life and God.

My answer is No.

The Jews and their cousin in Jerusalem are living next to each other. In fact, there are mosques and churches nearby each others.

I have also visited West Bank/Palestine where Bethlehem is located. I was there for a day. Except there is a wall separating West Bank from Israel after first suicide bombing, life is as normal as it could be.

My local guide who was born in Taiwan. He was formerly a professor in a seminary college in Taiwan but was "called to duty" by God to relocate to Israel. He took up a professorship in Hebrew University and taught Bible Authentication until his retirement and now work as tour guide.

He said many times that the issue is more of politicians like Hamas and others then the common people.

B4 Israel bombed West Bank, they would inform the locals there. He said the Jews value life while the opposite is not.

There are Arabs living in Israel as citizen. There are different types of Arabs. Jericho (which I also visited) is within Arabs controlled area and the Arabs there are different than Arabs in West Bank. No wall is necessary for Arabs in Jericho.

In fact, in Bethlehem restaurants, they serve liquors to the locals.

Jerusalem is split into 4 sectors and controlled by Jews, Muslim, Armenia and Christian.

This is my 2nd trip and I wished the trip could be longer ...

It was a dress with cleavage. Nothing wrong with that If Guys know how to turn away, instead of staring like a lunatic but I told her to remove for the sake of weaker Christians.

I have visitors now.

I'm slowly processing my photos and write up. Give me sometimes before I share more.

Also, I would strongly encourage fellow bro & sis to visit Israel. BUT, make sure you know the Bible well before the trip.
