It will make it easier to get copies of WOW but thats about it - if you have any experience with gaming software "support" Malaysian style, you know how it works i.e. suck.

No malaysian server. No singapore server either. Probably no Australian server either. Dont see that happening anytime soon, so we gotta bear with 400-500ms latency if you want WOW.

Right now, asiasoft's operation look so ah pia i have no confidence that they even ordered any copies of BC or will have any.

Psst.. buy from Singapore online game retailer. simple, easy, accept paypal, just across the causeway. I pre-ordered one back in October - they have kept me updated on the changing status of expected stock arrival. Very professional.

one example

i wont be rolling a new toon even if asiasoft decided to have a server either in my or sg. imagine the torrent of local bengs begging for gold or engaging in petty insults usually with your mother involved.

no way man. i'll stay oceanic.

Pre-ordered so they only charge when they ship.

I estimate (retail cost 74.90 + standard shipping 6.40) * exchange rate 2.3 = approx. RM 186.99

you can pre-order BC from offgamers.com, which is a malaysian company.

They usually sell only the cdkey but you can request for the box set and pick it up from their office in KL.

you know whats weird? even though oz/nz are nearer to us...I doubt their latency will be better cause most of the bandwidth focus is towards the USA...correct me if I'm wrong

But theoritically, we would be getting lower pings, if there was a server in Australia cause they're nearer.

All servers are based in the US. There are no servers in Australia.
