BabyCenter Editors' review:
What it is:

With its top lid closed, few would guess the Boon Potty Bench is actually a potty! This clever training seat doubles as a step stool that can support up to 300 pounds. The Potty Bench is seriously sturdy and easy to clean, with a drawer that pulls out in front and can be brought to the adult toilet for emptying.

The pull-out drawer also hinders "helpful" potty trainers who like to try to empty their own potty. Another thoughtful touch: The bench's two side compartments hold toilet paper, wipes, toys, books, and anything else needed nearby.

What to watch out for:

The Potty Bench is a little large – it takes up a significant amount of bathroom floor space. And while the storage bins are useful, kids can make a big mess out of nearby toilet paper. Parents of little boys also complain that the included splatter shield made of flexible rubber is fun to play with and often gets pushed out of place, which negates its usefulness. The shield is removable, however.
