Hi,

There are many choices for ceiling fan in the market. I'm down to only Panasonic or KDK ceiling fans.
But unsure about the models available. There are 3 blades, 4 blades and 5 blades. Which give better air circulation?
Also, there are 48" and 60". Gonna get a unit for my living room. Appreciate for advise.

Budget get alpha, even got 6 blade and reverse function equal good.
As for KDK and Panasonic get top of the range 400-500 only else forget it.

Or go old style 3 blade, that is damn good no remote only.

get biggest you can afford for more wind.

For living room, get the 60 inches one instead of 48 inches.

1. Larger = more air circulation
2. 48 inches is more expensive than 60 inches

The only advantage of 48 inches is it's suitable for narrow space. No other advantages.

Not this way la.

You need to measure the fan hood to the nearest wall. The fan blade must over or equal 1meter from the wall.

So if TS wall is too near to the 60in fan, that is out of spec.

yeah, its the internal setting. i think normally it will turn on to the medium speed unless rosak. my old elmark turn on to max.... wtf damn windy. sometimes remote gone missing lagi stress... i think there is a setting to change it. forgot where i saw it. but gotta panjat up there to do something.

im using both KDK and panasonic in my place. both work well except the KDK now has a whirrrrring noise. i can only hear it once i turn off my tv. but after awhile i guess get used to it again. the pana so silent. both are sorta cheap models RM280-300
