I'm working in Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah, Alor Setar, Kedah. The network connection here is totally bad. Compared with other telco provider ©, even telco provider (D) they provide very much more better network especially in the buildings. It keeps happening since I worked here 2008, and no improvements has been done so far till NOW year 2016 !!!
There are TONS of maxis users in this hospital that have eventually left & port OUT to other telcos !

Brief description on the network issue :
Loss of signal especially on ground floor and 1st floor of hospital sultanah bahiyah
Sometimes even outside of the building, at the parking area MAXIS signal only has 2 bars of 3G, sometimes no 3G either, show GPRS only.

Since when the issue started to occur :
Since the opening of hospital sultanah bahiyah in 2008

Signal shown : G/2G/E/3G/4G
GPRS or just two bar without GPRS

Signal bar (strength) while in the area :
Depends, suddenly 3g can immidiately loss signal and went to GPRS and the 3g reception also severely poor

Latest time & date of occurrence :
Almost everyday & any time


so please help to improve the condition.

Afaik if its inside building, its the building management's responsibility to install antenna for coverage.
I might be wrong though...

But lets wait Maxis representative to reply

Usually, most hospital dont have good data coverage nor reception. Maybe due to some equipment sensitivity or regards of health standards.

+ most hospital buildings had thick walls. Wave can't barely received to the phone end even transmit outside

as TS said, because if maxis coverage / services is bad, a lot maxis users in this hospital that lport OUT to other telcos!
