QUOTE(zemperor @ Feb 26 2016, 10:07 AM) thanks again for info This is something which i would like to do! Wonder where he gets the RC module from...can roughly know how much will it cost luckily the most expensive one not in my wishlist the 42042 only have a Large motor and a battery box the motor system is it 8293? 8293 have a battery box and Medium motor (and other parts as well) both motor are different, i think from the name u can guess Large motor a bit bigger than medium motor but a bit more powerful than medium motor if u say which one better, depend on u want more power or fit in smaller place BTW, accidently found this (i hope this time the youtube link is correct) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(nickygin @ Mar 11 2016, 10:56 AM) Lego technics are nice! Even their smaller sets are quite detailed and nice to build... Best part... Not many people into it yet so got a lot of stock 😁
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I have this obsession of wanting to add remote control function into my crawler. Hence the need to go around looking for parts. Yeah, guess there arent a lot of people who is into the Technic line but that doesnt make it cheap. Just got a price quote from a local retailer here regarding a set and his price is less than desirable for me. This post has been edited by eehtsitna: Mar 11 2016, 10:16 AM |

QUOTE(alien2003 @ Mar 22 2016, 09:42 PM) If you are referring to those with the Global Shipping Program which collect the import tax, I have bought some sets from eBay and I just paid the amount quoted during checkout. No issue from Kastam on other issues so far. Thanks for the clarification. Guess paypal must have collected those tax on behalf of Kastam then. |

QUOTE(alien2003 @ Mar 24 2016, 10:21 AM) I have bought the likes of Tumbler & 4x4 Crawler from oversea via eBay before this and no issue though. I actually read through this and my understanding is that if we were to pay this import tax we wont have to pay gst. My reasoning is that my credit card charge me twice when i bought a set recently. First time, the actual price of the item in euro, and the second time the import tax in Ringgit.More on eBay's Global Shipping Program: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/shipping-globally.html |
