kinda need of help, as i have no idea for what to purchase for my friend.
Basically the laptop will need to be use for CATIA application, something like 3d application i guess.
Can sifus suggest any good / affordable laptop ?

not to bulk, and easy to carry (the owner is a little girl) + more points if got pink color

With a tight budget like yours (RM1.5-1.7K), why not get a decent desktop instead ?

You can save a lot since your requirements are mostly on the RAM & Graphics Card. Get a decent RAM, let's say 4GB-8GB then at least a decent/good graphics card like 2GB NVidia.

As the monitor/display size is not the main concern, a decent 17" or 19" LCD will do.

Some shops also offer pre-assembled package, look around.
