You can always start low level customs by swapping parts, just like in Gundam Breaker At first I only do custom paintjobs on my older kits, nowadays I only buy kits when I needed parts for a custom (though most purchase are from Gunpla Builder's joints set, which are around RM15-30). Painting skill still sucks, only recently start to do spray cans+masking tape

As you can see, the thighs have noticeable bumps because of uneven/thick spraying(on blue colored plastic). The knees have better results so they are smoother. Upper body doesn't require spraying because they're white to begin with

I used Krylon matte white, supposingly it says it works as primer too.

Yeah, because Phenex reuses the same runners from the previous Unicorn kits which were not designed with chrome plating in mind. But it still looks nice. Almost like an Oscar

Edit: Studying the list, I'm glad ZZ won. Like really? Zeta, Raiser, DoubleX, Freedom, Justice and Turn A? I know it's ver. ka, but goddamn that's like 60% of the list are those whisch already had updated MGs/fairly recent release.
