Must you need solid blocks?
If hollow clear casing, Daiso has it, not sure about solid blocks |

QUOTE(TheEvilMan @ Mar 1 2016, 09:49 PM) was checking this out in dalong ytd, i was surprise with the knees mechanism to allow more articulation and the feet that can lift from behind, why they never implement those in other MG especially the Gundam The 'flip-flop' feet is a feature of EF grunts (Jesta is a derivation of Jegan)![]() The knee mechanism had mixed reviews, some don't mind as long as can increase articulation, while some dislike it being illogical in realism or unpractical |

not my opinion, dont ask me lol
it's smart, but it's a cheat, what the haters don't like is it ain't a real built-in 180 bend, saying Bandai took a short cut instead of designing a proper mechanism maybe they could have design that the part self-extend when you bend the knees, instead of extend-and-bend way something like PG Unicorn knee cap extends outwards when bent don't shoot me, I don't care much about articulation, I'm just happy they did a MG of grunt unit after a long drought |

P-Bandai SG has pre-order for PG Phenex at SG$550
if you have friends or family in SG, asking them to help order would be cheaper than buying from local sellers QUOTE(advocado @ Nov 17 2016, 04:42 PM) anyone used Mr.Color Lacquer Flat Clear Base as flat coat? Flat Clear Base is NOT a paint by itself, it's used to mix other gloss/semi-gloss paints to make them flatis it normal the whole bottle looks jellish? i used many acrylic flat bottles before they only become dry but not jellish. anyway they blended well with Mr.Color thinner but wondering: does flat coat change the outlook of the base color tone abit? like lighten the color slightly? For example Dark colors will look slightly lighter. |

QUOTE(anyme @ Dec 1 2016, 06:33 AM) downside of billy is its shallow depthQUOTE(clivengu @ Dec 1 2016, 03:53 PM) What scale is that kit it compares to? I think easiest to compare to a standard 1/100 scale mg or 1/144 rg. Cause those are the only one I have 1/24 IIRC |
