need answer to a noob question

When u're applying decals, will u do dry 1st or stickers 1st?
Will the tape use to hold the dry transfer decals peel off those stickers if it overlap?
Also should I apply a light coat after i panel line to ensure the decals process does not hinder or destroy the panel line (am using pencil led).
Will stickers and dry transfer decals work fine on a coated surface?
*
dry 1st, the scotch tape will strip off any decals/stickers it overlaps. If the decals placement is closeby to 1 another and the overlap is unavoidable, coat 1st after every decals is applied.

scotch tape will remove some panel lines. If u dowan the hassle of reapplying the lines again u better just coat it 1st b4 u do any decaling.

decals work fine on gloss coat, not advisable on flat coat.

on an unrelated note, avoid using stickers if possible, it look horrible most of the time.

Thanks for the Tips, do concern about the use of stickers since I been buying 3rd party for almost every kits that come with stickers, but having to check out the diagram and see some actual straight build. I think FA Unicorn should be doing quite alright since the blue parts will be using dry transfer, and stickers mostly cover the white area (which will not be as visible)

Lazy to do water slide all over again like i did for Unicorn Ver.Ka sweat.gif

on white is better then on any other color since the discoloration is negligible, but the biggest gripe about stickers is the edge sticking out like a sore thumb. Over time as white color starts to turn yellowish and the sticker starts to degrade, the edge become very obvious even from afar.

Possible to preserve with thick layer of coat or the Super Clear UV Coat?
in that case maybe should use water slide (Unicorn has terrible amount of decals, always wonder how i manage to finish the ver.ka decals with that much patience sweat.gif )

The one i saw in BTS Gamers Arena display is using stickers, it's been there for about 2 years, somehow the discoloration isn't too drastic yet, but i do notice my old gunpla (10-15 years age without any coat or anything) has turn yellow (expecially on the nub where i didn't trim well and sand as a noob back then)
