this kit a bit let down.. since its pbandai n recent release..
at least peg hangs and action base peg could hv come with it..
instead mostly are recycled parts.. here n there with additional runners to make it Powered gm

So far only did gloss on sinanju and hyaku shiki as their natural color are gloss already, didn't even panel line them

mostly use semi gloss, feel like starting fa Gundam soon

Actually Katoki version of Heavyarms Kai have more difference compared to Okawara version. Okawara version of Heavyarms Kai look almost identical with the before-Kai version. The reason why Katoki design for both Heavyarms and Heavyarms Kai looks similar most probably because it follow the same convention as the original Okawara design; Heavyarms Kai basic appearance being not much different than the Heavyarms.

*notes: the Heavyarms of the EW OVA is actually Heavyarms Kai and the Heavyarms in the EW manga is the version before Kai.

Only true if the kit in question hav very little interest from fans in the 1st place.

Whatever R&D cost, operating cost, overhead cost, promotional cost, etc, will be covered atleast 2 folds from sales if the kit is from a popular franchise. The point of contention is there is still plenty of such design still to b made from Seed, Wing, 00, 2.0s that is a sure fire hit and will sale like gangbuster if its widely available to the public (aka fk P-Bandai) regardless of interference from bootleg or not, yet till this day Bandai keep absolute radio silence, keep ppl waiting for years and years and years, keep it as exclusive.

Smart bootleg company can try to circumvent copyright law by changing the design, name, etc, but Bandai still holds the advantage from the fans perspective in its accuracy to the show. Accuracy their selling point, thats what they proudly advertise it as since ages ago.

Most bootleg china brand can only imitate, Bandai will hav the advantage in being the 1st one out in most cases and fans being fans will buy whoever comes first. They also introduces new technology 1st to boost their selling point. Being 1st matters, thats the way ppl mentality are, the "me 1st" mentality. Thats the whole reason why ppl preorder non exclusive stuff air delivered straight from Japan even if its more expensive than just wait it out couple of more weeks for regular releases or wait for reviews. But hey its their money so i wont judge them.

Hardcore bootlegger on the other hand will wait for the cheap imitation regardless, but here's the thing Bandai not gonna lose anything cuz they aint gonna get any sales from them anyway. They are dead set to buy bootleg even if they hav to wait, perhaps for financial reason or whatever but i wont judge them for it either.

Its the fence sitter that will be swayed into bootleg if there is no other choice and they cant wait any more. Keeping radio silence only pushes them into bootleg territory. Making the kit expensive as hell and hard to get (aka fk P-Bandai) will push the into bootleg territory. Keeping them wait for years and years and years despite popular fan vote (im looking at u ZZ 2.0.......) will push them into bootleg territory. And all of this is Bandai's own doing.
