to be precise, it's thermal adhesive. once u attach it, u will be having hard time removing it.

it's better then the so call 'double side tape'

Added on August 31, 2007, 11:49 pmit depand on what kind of the Tim u used. some TIM which have metal substance in it will have potential to leak
into yr mobo if u apply too much, which u will end up RMA yr mobo

iirc, for X2 only in the middle of the ihs, and just tiny dot will do.
you can refer for those who have their ihs removed, those
naked X2 die is really small and straight in the middle.
