Hi guys..
I'm sorry if this question was asked before.
I just bought an Q6600 and of course it already has the thermal pad on it. However, I googled and discovered that the thermal pad provided is not good enough and it is recommended to apply thermal grease.
My questions are:
1. Do I really need to apply the grease or the thermal pad is simple good enough?
2. Can I apply the grease with the pad or must I remove the pad first? (I read somewhere that the pad must be removed before applying the grease, so I just wanna double confirm.)
3. If I need to remove the pad, what can I use? I tried to purchase the ArcticClean from moderno.com but its sold out ><
Thanks!
just remove the pad using a normal tissue paper or cloth. thats what i did but make sure that the proc is totally clean. after that only apply ur grease.I'm sorry if this question was asked before.
