another thing to add to methods of applying TIM. After applying a "grain of rice" amount to the middle of your cpu, and after your heatsink gets in touch/contact with it. Do not remove it again. Quickly fasten/lock your heatsink in place, and jiggle it gently left and right so that the TIM gets spreads WITHIN your proc and hsf.
