QUOTE(lolhalol @ Dec 18 2006, 09:39 PM) man the credit card way is a huge common misconcepttion.... if u use ur credit card u introduce trace amounts of imourities that will cause a decrease in performance... best if use the rice or string method as i posted earlier.... lots of guilow is refering to the days when the cores of cpu was very big... maybe the oldschool procs.... hmmm.......... i will try out the rice method next time.. |

Will definitely try this out when i got my hands on the AS5 soon..Hopefully it will be better than my stock Zalman paste that comes with my Zalman HSF.. |

QUOTE(irangan @ Dec 19 2006, 04:24 PM) you can get a better result that is for sure.. since its high performance paste, STG1 also lost to AS5 lol..thats why i doubt myself in calling the STG1 the "high performance" thermal paste..Well, hopefully i can test it out when it arrives..Maybe will take sometime though.. |

I already did but too bad i cant test it on my system yet.I should only be able to do that after Xmas.I really did think of getting the STG1 myself and test it on my system as well. But considering the price tag, and comments made, it seems like a waste. The only doubt i have was would the STG1 works better with a Zalman HSF...
