for me,

during the "scan" or "record" of my fingerprints

i make sure i placed it in multiple positions

for example, my thumb, i make it 360 degrees all around and also majority of the scanned areas are HOW i will unlock my phone with my thumb.

and the rest at weird positions

so far it works most of the time

but sometimes still cant detect properly

yes, when KNOX is tripped,

it is a hardware that is tripped. not software.

so if that hardware is "dead", hence, certain features that relies on KNOX is also "dead"


despite you flashing fully stock ROM, it is "dead" cuz the hardware is "no longer there"


basically its like a kill switch, once you root your note 5, you've just murdered it and you're playing with a "dead body"

i just noticed that my friend's note 5 does not have any of the CE6120 type of indication at the back

below the DUOS wording.





is that the old batch or newer batch?

my friend who had it last month no have that marking.

not sure if he has old stock or mine is new stock cuz i did took mine from maxis
