any entry level procs and 2gb ram should be sufficient actually, the hard disk transfer rate matters alot, try looking at alternative to hdd such as ssd...it would improve the performance of pc alot..

you mind to share your cpu model?speed gives very diff performance anyways if the model diff..eg..celeron and core i3 is totally in diff standard...very hard to compare..if you ask me..even a old pentium 4 should be sufficient if ram and hdd in good condition..trade does not require much processing power..
