I just starting to buy stock through my remisier, just wondering if a stock goes down and I'm losing money does the remisier have to take responsible for my loss?

Want to ask sifus here regarding entitlement for stock's dividend.
Recently I bought Gamuda stock on 16/07/2019 and sell it off on 17/07/2019. The EX Date for Gamuda is on the 18/07/2019. Do I still entitle for the dividend? Today is 19/07/2019 and I haven't received any messages regarding whether I'm entitled? |
