QUOTE(skty @ Sep 5 2020, 10:54 AM) https://www.theedgemarkets.com/article/vacc...er-pressure-fda again I say, investment need to research research research, then you will know all those news on vaccine release are all for political advantage. but I like those news as they let me earn a few round from the up and down in an uptrend stock, no brainer. the cycle has now begin, releasing good news after accumulating enough at the downhill. Now is the time to lure back small sheeps up the hill. bank I say again, the worst only will happen at 2021 Q1 and Q2. You can buy in now and WAIT, sure you can earn money after 2022. But I doubt anyone here willing to do that. |

QUOTE(chromatino_hex @ Sep 12 2020, 10:57 PM) how much money we want to allocate to each secondary glove stocks. Tech and pharma to hedge. As my team is still unable to prove the existence of a fully tested vaccine beyond reasonable doubt from various sources. Believe me, we've looked everywhere from reliable sources and cross-examined every news regarding a possible vaccine and still there is no clear indication yet. Just some food for thought. No TP/no buy or sell calls. Again, we manage a small fund Thatβs not certain vaccine fill & bottle locally, anything can happen though. Those who invest in vaccine counter might get burned. Just be cautioned. This post has been edited by SunBear1999: Sep 13 2020, 06:20 AM |

QUOTE(Vanguard 2015 @ Dec 8 2020, 06:07 PM) Eh? When did I say that I have a RM100K portfolio? JK only. Well said!On a serious note, there is no magic formula. Keep it simple. 1. Read personal finance or investment books. Over the past 20 years, I must have read about 300 to 350 personal finance or investment books. And I am still reading them. 2. Invest in yourself. You are the best stock in this whole wide world with limitless EPS, PAT, etc. If there are any professional courses that can enhance your career path, take them! Whether it is a certificate, diploma, degree or master course. Depending on where you are in your career path now. 3. Save at least 10% of your take home pay. The more the better. Without savings and without any emergency fund, there is no money to invest. Simple. As you grow older, the savings rate percentage should go up. 4. Live within your means. If you can afford a Honda Civic, drive a Honda City instead. If you can afford a RM1 million house, buy a RM800K house instead. Always have a buffer zone. 5. Don't carry any bad debts. This means credit card debts, personal loan debts, etc. The interest will kill you. Housing loan is OK. 6. Diversify into different investment plans. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. 7. If you can afford it, buy a landed property. Even if it is a small one. I bought my first house for RM220K. 10 years later I sold it for about RM540K. Renting only enriches the landlord. See? I told you there is no magic bullet. I came from nothing....my family was even below the B40 group. If I can do it in less than 20 years, so can anyone here. |

QUOTE(New Klang @ Dec 29 2020, 06:56 PM) Thanks for the information. You really go through TG thoroughly. Seen the powers all through the day. Noticable ones are:- Around 4.30 pm today, it was seen that someone with lots of stocks keeps throwing down to breach the rm6 level. Firewall at rm6 with 6m buying. Before the 4.45pm price lock, there was a mini battle to lock between 6.01-6.02 vs 6.02-6.03. I saw it too, last minute before closing. |

QUOTE(Duckies @ Jan 10 2021, 07:49 PM) Yea to be honest PHARMA and DPHARMA are more qualified. Not sure how come MYEG is involved.. Oh wait.. U know I know la.. PNB holds 50.92% equity in Duopharma Biotech, inclusive of shareholdings of the trust funds managed by PNB. This confers many benefits to the Duopharma Biotech group of companies (βGroupβ), not least of which is access to opportunities for leadership, capacity, innovation and CSR development enabled by PNB.![]() |
