A newbie question- why is it that it seems like Malaysia stocks are low in P/E but yet nobody seems to be interested in buying them.

OK I should rephrase it to nobody seem to be interested in buying them and pushing it to higher P/E ratios.
Most of the counters are like 10-15, which seems to be lagging behind US counters of 20-25.
