Yes..i know that...
4 Top Glove company competing at same time....all using same strategy....

Harta QR dissapointing.
SuperMax QR fantastic.

TopGlove QR....possibly way over the moon.
Kossan QR.....no idea for now.

Yes...investing future cash flow...
Now tell me..

Comparing Harta and SuperMax......
Both company have declare their QR...
Why considering invest in Harta as compare to SuperMax?

What so special about Harta as compare to SuperMax?
Strategy....nothing special lo.

SuperMax now bonus issue 1 to 1 and treasury dividend as well.
Harta?
*
I didnt hold both. Just one thing some people view it (myself too).
Harta is more into very long term slow but steady growth. Their production plant setup is world class and quality delivered is world best.

If you enter Hartalega vs Supermax/Top Glove production plant, it is like sky and ground. Therefore some investor into value investing.

It seems many topg shareholders are holding til split. if topg hoarding size is large enough could cause buy volume > sell volume in trading, possible price spike until ex-date.
*
If lucky, it will end up RM35 before split. biggrin.gif
My only target is Rm30, more than that is a bonus. blush.gif

I compared Nice and MuiProp, and noticed that Nice only went up 3.5 cents compared to 12 cents for MuiProp. Why the big difference even though both are related to gold, and Nice is cheaper?
*
NICE is a jewelery and MUIP is a gold mining company.
NICE should be categorize with Tomei and PK while MUIP dig out gold from mother earth. MUIP group should be Bahvest and Borneo Oil.

Only a 40% stake.

Nex metals or NME is listed on ASX...

https://www.marketindex.com.au/asx/nme

.... Nme.... err.... macam no fight with ah mui laugh.gif

any chance harta will be able to touch rm20? any insight? tq tq

Technically there should be a uptrend since following other glove but to reach 20, it might having strong resistance. Your best stretch is 20.60, better exit before that.

I am not sure how many new investors here realise that it is actually abnormal for a stock to go up 10% or 20% or hit limit up in a day.

Those days, for value investors, when we buy a stock, we will hold it for months if not years. Our aim was to make about 12% per annum (excluding dividend payments). As long as we can beat the FD rate, the EPF rate or the ASM rate. Anything above 12% is a bonus.

Nowadays, we buy a stock at 9.00 a.m. By 3 p.m. on the same day, when the stock does not move up, we start cursing the stock. Why no movement one? Syndicates pressing down the price, is it? tongue.gif

I suppose this is the culture of instant gratification. If you can't fight them, join them. I will ride along with the wave following the megatrend.  rclxms.gif

Have a good holiday tomorrow everyone!
*
This is due to last 2 weeks frenzy. People think this is how stock price should work. tongue.gif
Tbh, I don't like to see such movement. Easy up mean easy down. blush.gif

QUOTE(Vanguard 2015 @ Aug 19 2020, 08:06 PM)
We should cultivate an open mind in life including investment.

Whether we are in our 20’s, 30’s, 40’s or 50’s, there is always something new that we can learn in life.

Ego is the enemy. When we have a closed mind, we lose big time because we refuse to see an alternative view which could be better.

I like to read the comments or feedback of the forumers here and then do some critical thinking – does it make sense? Can I apply it to my investment or trading method? By doing that, I hope to improve myself and become a better investor.

Otherwise, we end up repeating the same mistake again and again. And end up losing money again and again.
*
Totally agreed on this. We should work and share in profesional way. Share what went wrong in our previous trade. For instance, I always look back and study at my losing trade and why it is failed.
I do know some people like to trade based on which stock give them more movement on that day.

QUOTE(SGSuser @ Aug 19 2020, 09:25 PM)
any1 here uses harmonics & ew regularly in ur ta?
*
Didn't use both. I do use Ichimoku cloud, EMA20/50/100/200, Fibo and VWAP (for entry). I hate using trend lines as I always fuck-up with this.
However, I only put the stock in watchlist if the stock have minimum Fundamental (growth and QR profits) or future development/project (i.e: 5G, Cloud technology, renewal energy etc)

harta super laggard... this Q only wanna increase their ASP...previous Q supermax take advantage of pandemic and increase their ASP but harta wanted to maintain relationship with it's clients so didn't increase drastically lol
*
Most likely there is a reason they didn't increase their ASP. Likely it would be long term contract agreement and their ISO/TUV certification. Cos Harta always view their standard and quality above other glove makers.

Agreed, still can invest but not all in for current situation
Technically yes, but we do not know those sharks washing cycles. Like my case, 700 shares accidentally trapped at rm20. 28 for hartalega thanks to RT apps
Was setting a Sell order but somehow turned to be Buy Order. Still hold it since I monitor based on each Buy Order.
If washing really happen again, this time might be a more vital one. Let's see how it goes on next Monday.
*
Hahah, same thing happened to me during early time with Rakuhang. Lesson learnt, get a proper CDS account and never look back. biggrin.gif

Ok real talk. What's the minimum amount of money you'll put into a counter every time you buy?

Say you're a little short on money, have only RM3k, want to buy stocks but you want to split it into smaller pieces to average down if the price dips after you buy.

Is it worth it to just buy RM1,000 worth of stocks and let rakuten trade charge you RM10 (9 brokerage + 1 stamp duty + 6% service tax)?
*
Technically experienced trader would advise you to only trade 10% of your capital for each stock. And Cut Loses (CL) if the share price is -10% from your entry. This will help you to manage to be only loses 1% of your capital.

However, it is still depends on your trading frequency Daily/Weekly/Monthly. As for myself, I'm comfortable to trade with 20% of my capital. And I only Average Up when I want to add more bet on the particular stock.

Find your best trading way. But for newbie, trade 10% of your capital under you're comfortable. Good luck. thumbsup.gif

P/s: There is once I place 60% of my capital one stock last month (which after I did a deep study on it). It is on Hartalega, take profit a day before it massive down on QR.

If follow logic, good QR like FGV will lead to rise but it didnt.

Unheard penny stocks sometimes rise just because they are in the sector, or sign MOU
*
Current trend is, good QR = dive. See Hartalega, Supermax and today FGV. biggrin.gif

But I think XOX tmr gonna dive as well. Yes, I did enter XOX on Technical with entry price 0.185. Thought can get higher profit tomorrow, manatau kena trapped. sweat.gif

Therefore someone said, "Past records doesn't indicate future, it is only for reference"

Plus, we bolehland love to go for "proven records" and it is highly required for business out there but not stock market. Look at BAT counter as example, and then look at DUFU or PENTA.
