I've been propping up my REIT section of the portfolio with KLCC.
In terms of uptrend, boat is already in motion for the past 5 months here.

for REITS, pls do not touch the REITS with US exposure (e.g.; Manulife, etc..)

SG or HK REITS still ok, but the boat has left the port.

HK can consider LINK REIT

SG can consider the 5 tiger generals (CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust (CICT), Mapletree Pan Asia Commercial Trust (MPACT), Keppel REIT (KREIT), Frasers Centrepoint Trust (FCT) and Suntec REIT)

Judge even said credit ratings is beyond CTOS scope... LOL

I think it make them vulnerable to lawsuits. Maybe they will need to access whether they should have a scoring system in the first place.

Remind me again, how is dividend calculated? Let say I own 100 units of a share, and the div is 0.05sen.

100*RM0.0005=RM0.05

I am curious, how very determined are you in holding stocks in a particular counter? Made a mistake of buying into a stock, priced at 0.04 It's been months and it never moved up a tick! It hovers around at 0.04 or moved down to 0.035

I don't need the money, but I do feel it is wasteful to hold on to it, but at the same time I will lose money if I sell it at the buying price. At least, I'll be losing on the buy/sell fees.

If it is a bad investment, my principle is to cut.
If you are waiting for a bad investment to become good, this short term feels good because you never recognize the loss but long term unlikely to yield profits.

Unless you want to make it through your investment life never losing money on any investment.
It is also about opportunity cost. If you wait another year hoping it'll go up, might as well go for at least bonds and get a year's interest.
But of course, KLSE rules apply when you sell.
When you sell, stock always goes up up up.
